Veteran Application Instructions

Old Glory Honor Flight transports veterans living in Northeast Wisconsin to Washington, D.C. to visit the national monuments and memorials that were built to honor the service and sacrifices of our veterans. Unless otherwise indicated, we fly from Appleton International Airport (ATW) or from another airport located in Northeast Wisconsin.

In order to maximize the number of veterans we take on each mission we have limited guardian seats available. Family members are encouraged to apply to be guardians, but their participation is not guaranteed due to the finite number of seats on each flight. 

Eligible veterans need to have been active duty, any time, any where, in any branch of the service prior to May 7, 1975 to qualify for the Old Glory Honor Flight.

All passengers will need a REAL ID prior to May 2025. To learn more about the REAL ID and requirements, click here. Valid passports can be used for traveling on the Old Glory Honor Flight.
