The Freedom to Liberty Tour: A Mission of Healing will head to New York City to visit the 9/11 Memorial, 9/11 Museum, the Freedom Tower and the Statue of Liberty. This multi-day tour is set for September 19 through September 22, 2024. The mission will include fifty nine veterans who served during the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT) as a means to honor and thank them for their service and to remind them that their service mattered. Thanks to the 'Missions of Honor' organization, this trip, which is free to the veterans, will provide a meaningful opportunity for them to heal and bond with other GWOT vets.
Friends and Family, let's Welcome them home! Join us at Appleton Airport's W6400 Hangar located just south of the airport. Park in long term parking, parking fees may apply. The vet's will arrive on Breeze Airlines Charter at 12:15pm. Doors open to the Hangar at 11:00am; we cannot let people in early due to TSA requirement. Once the vet's arrive, we'll celebrate with a short presentation and then it's time to listen to music plus we'll have beverages, snacks, mission merchandise, giveaways and more! For the most part, this is a standing reception with limited seating. If you need a chair, please bring one.
Thank you to our partners including ATW!
