Hi Everyone, I want to thank you for a very moving day yesterday. I will never forget it! At my age of 72, it’s been 52 years since I left friends behind in Vietnam. The kindness and support I received was beyond anything I ever expected. Your guardians and entire staff supported our needs to be re-connected with society after way too many years! What a great way to help us and heal us! I find this hard to write, I am trying to hold back the tears. May God bless your mission to reach other veterans who need your much needed help.

My dad graduated from High School and immediately enlisted in the army. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran, serving two tours in Vietnam. His proudest moment was going on the Glory Honor Flight. The day brought him to tears often and it helped him heal. My dad is a better husband, father, and grandfather thanks to you and your amazing staff.

The highlight of Virgil’s life was his trip at 88 years old to the World War II Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C. with the Old Glory Honor Flight. It was his first airplane ride in 68 years since the war and he enjoyed every minute of his day.

Thank you Old Glory Honor Flight Crew. It was a whirlwind to say the least and every detail was well planned and thought out. I can honestly say after being involved with something like this.. you walk a little taller and hold your head higher!
