Old Glory Honor Flight of Northeast Wisconsin
Proudly Presents
'Return To Korea'

To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Korean War, Old Glory Honor Flight is proud to announce that we are in the planning stages of a once-in-a-lifetime Honor Flight to Korea.  We are actively seeking funds to transport up to fifty Northeast Wisconsin Korean veterans back to Vietnam on a one-week tour. This no-cost trip will be planned for May of 2020.

A separate application will be established on our website for those vets interested in participating - Apply Online Now Participants will be selected at random from this list of applicants.  Who is eligible?  For this mission, any active duty military serviceman or woman, living in Northeast Wisconsin who served in Korea between the dates of June 27, 1950 – October 15, 1954 is eligible to participate.  US Navy vets serving in the waters off the Korean peninsula during that timeframe are also eligible.

Why Return to Korea? "Our recent Return to Nam trip has shown us the healing power of having vets return to their former battlegrounds," said Renee Schroeder, board member of Old Glory Honor Flight. "With the participation of the South Korean government, the opportunity to do this is just too important to miss.

"The Korean War is often referred to as the ‘Forgotten War,’" said Old Glory Board member Steve Trinkner. "This trip will give these vets the comfort of knowing that they are forgotten no more.”

Old Glory Honor Flight, a volunteer-driven organization, will continue to operate its regular schedule of flights to Washington D.C., and participation in the Washington flight will not affect eligibility for Return to Korea.

Old Glory Honor Flight will partner with the South Korean Revisit Korea veteran’s program and the well-established Military Historical Tours for this special event.  Funding for Return to Korea will be separate from our other funding efforts.

Old Glory Honor Flight is a registered 501(c)3 organization.  Corporate and individual donations are encouraged.   Please visit for more information, and thank you for your support.
