|Old Glory Honor Flight of Northeast Wisconsin Proudly Presents Yellow Ribbon Honor Flight V at EAA’s AirVenture, July 28, 2017
Old Glory Honor Flight, in partnership with EAA and American Airlines proudly announces Yellow Ribbon Honor Flight V. This special flight will take place on Friday, July 28th, 2017 as part of EAA's Salute to Veterans celebration during AirVenture Oshkosh 2017.
This very special event will be dedicated to the continuing recognition of our Vietnam veterans, and all participants will be veterans of the Vietnam War.
"Yellow Ribbon Honor Flights out of AirVenture have become a tradition for us and we are very excited to continue that tradition for a fifth time in 2017" said Old Glory Honor Flight Co-Founder Diane MacDonald.
"For past Yellow Ribbon Honor Flight missions we have utilized a special application process, but because we have fully integrated Vietnam veterans into our existing program, the participants for Yellow Ribbon Honor Flight V will be taken directly from our existing wait list."
The public is invited to attend AirVenture and welcome the veterans home as they return to Boeing Plaza at 6:00 pm on Friday, July 28.
